1. Introduction & Core Principles

Welcome to Draw Music & Sound: Doodle Pad (“the App”, “we”, “our”). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you install and use our Android mobile application.

We operate on a device-first privacy architecture: we do not maintain user databases, we do not require account registration, and we do not transmit your creative content (drawings, audio sequences, or video recordings) to any remote servers operated by us.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is created through your interactions and stored strictly on your local device storage:

• Drawings & Musical Strokes: Vector stroke paths, musical notes, assigned instruments (synth, guitar, piano, drums, etc.), color shades, pitch mappings, scales, BPM tempo, and canvas grid configurations.
• Project Library & Thumbnails: Project metadata, custom titles, creation dates, and generated thumbnail previews.
• Application Settings: Preferences such as interface theme (System/Light/Dark), chosen app language, live audio preview toggle, haptic feedback settings, and local reminder preferences.
• Exported Media Files: Rendered WAV audio, MIDI sequence, and MP4 video files that you choose to export. These are saved to your public Downloads/DrawMusic directory (or private scoped storage on Android 10+) under your complete control.

Important: None of your doodle projects, audio recordings, or exported files are ever transmitted to or stored on our servers.

3. Photo & Background Image Access

The App allows you to choose an image from your device to use as a drawing background canvas.

• We utilize the secure, modern Android Photo Picker (PickVisualMedia).
• The App only receives read access to the single image you specifically tap and select. We never request broad access to your entire photo library or gallery.
• A cached copy of the selected image is stored locally in the App’s private folder so your drawing canvas can display it. It is never uploaded, shared, or scanned.

4. Real-Time Analytics & Crash Diagnostics

To ensure the App runs smoothly across thousands of Android device models, we use trusted developer tools provided by Google Firebase (Google LLC):

• Google Firebase Analytics: Collects anonymized, aggregated telemetry such as screen navigation views (e.g. Home, Editor, Library), template selections, export feature usage, device model, operating system version, and general session duration. This helps us know which features users love and improve app performance. No personal names, email addresses, or canvas artwork are collected.
• Google Firebase Crashlytics: In the event of an unexpected crash or freeze, Crashlytics automatically records technical diagnostic logs (stack traces, memory state, device orientation, and non-fatal errors). This allows us to rapidly push bug fixes and maintain 99.9% crash-free sessions.

5. Advertising (Free Version)

The free version of the App is funded by advertising delivered through Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK).

• Ad Formats: Adaptive banners, native ads with clear "Ad Sponsored" labels, occasional interstitial transitions at natural breaks, app-open ads, and optional rewarded video ads.
• Information Processed by Google: Google AdMob may process your device's Google Advertising ID (AAID), IP address, app interaction signals, and diagnostic data for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and performance reporting.
• GDPR & User Consent (UMP): For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the App presents Google’s certified User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form before ads are loaded. You can change your consent preferences at any time within the App via Settings → Ad privacy choices.
• Optional Rewarded Ads: Users may voluntarily choose to view a short rewarded video ad to unlock a specific premium sound, instrument, or template for 24 hours.
• Premium Exemption: Users who upgrade to Premium VIP experience zero ads, and the advertising SDK is deactivated.

6. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

We offer optional Premium upgrades (Monthly, 6-Month, and Yearly auto-renewing subscriptions, as well as a One-Time Lifetime purchase) exclusively processed through Google Play In-App Billing.

• Payment Details: All financial and billing transactions are securely handled by Google Play. We never collect, see, or store your credit card numbers, banking details, or billing addresses.
• License Verification: The App receives a cryptographic purchase token and product identifier from Google Play to verify your active entitlements on your device.

7. Summary of App Permissions

Zero Sensitive Permissions: The App does NOT request access to your microphone, camera, contacts, phone state, SMS, or precise GPS location.

8. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)

The App is intended for a general audience and creative users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union).

Because we do not require account registration or collect names, addresses, or phone numbers, children can explore drawing and music creation in a safe, sandboxed offline environment. If a parent or guardian believes personal data was inadvertently transmitted, please contact us immediately for prompt deletion.

9. Your Rights & Data Control

You have complete control over your creative content and data choices:

• Delete Specific Drawings: Open the Library tab in the App and tap the delete icon on any project.
• Delete Exported Audio/Video: Manage and delete exported files anytime via your device's File Manager in the Downloads/DrawMusic directory.
• Reset or Erase All Data: You can completely remove all local app data by going to Android Settings → Apps → Draw Music → Storage → Clear Data, or by simply uninstalling the application.
• Reset Ad Identifier: You can reset or delete your Google Advertising ID at any time via Android Settings → Google → Ads.

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in legal requirements or new app features. Any updates will be published with a revised effective date at the top of this document.
